A. Scope and Applicability
This Refund and Cancellation Policy is a legally binding part of our Legal Terms. We distinguish between different client categories:
- B2B and Non-EU/EEA Clients: All sales, service fees, and subscriptions are final. No refunds shall be issued once payment is confirmed.
- EU Consumers (B2C): This section applies exclusively to natural persons residing in the European Union/EEA.
B. Right of Withdrawal for EU Consumers
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you generally have a 14-day "cooling-off period." However, the following statutory exemptions apply:
- Expert Assessment Credits (Virtual Points): These are "digital content not supplied on a tangible medium." By completing a purchase and requesting immediate delivery via the mandatory checkbox, you provide your express prior consent and acknowledge that you completely waive your 14-day right of withdrawal.
- Assessment Services (Redeemed Points): Once you redeem a point to initiate an assessment, the service begins immediately. Because this involves personalised, human-led expert work, you lose the right of withdrawal for that specific point once the curated report is delivered or the review process has significantly commenced.
- Consulting Services (Phased Delivery): If you request that we begin consulting services during the 14-day cooling-off period, you are liable to pay an amount in proportion to the services already provided (e.g., Phase 1 administrative assessment fee).
C. Non-Refundable Service Outcomes
Refunds will not be issued based on personal dissatisfaction with the results of an assessment, the individuals introduced, or the success of any resulting connection. Our service is for the expert curation process, not a guaranteed romantic outcome.
D. Refund Processing
- Notification: Submit a clear written statement to [email protected].
- Timeline: Approved refunds for eligible cases will be processed within 14 days.
- Fees: To the extent permitted by applicable law, a 10% administrative fee may be deducted from approved refunds to cover third-party transaction costs.
